Yesterday, I achieved a rare trifecta in poker that a winning regular seldom gets to accomplish... I lost money in the cash games, in single table tournaments and multitable tournaments. Most poker players are not "adept" enough to play all three categories of games in the same session. And then it dawns on me... I'm a fish!
This is what a fish does... he starts off opening up some MTTs to "try his luck," and maybe fires up a few cash tables at the same time. After getting bounced out early from the MTTs, he then fires up some STTs, saying MTTs are rigged. But basically, he's a fish who sucks at poker, so he just keeps losing money!
I think my SNG experiment is going into the scrap heap. I had forgotten how excruciating playing in any tournament can be. There were literally a few times when I wanted to poke out my eyeball. When things aren't going well, it makes no sense to add to the aggravation.
A little hiccup in my path to poker glory to be sure, but I'll be back!
(Probably another thing a fish keeps telling himself)
