School's Out for Summer. We can't believe it took this long but we had a ton of snow days this year. The superintendent must've been from the Caribbean or something, because there were a few days where we only had a few inches of snow and school was called off. A native New Englander wouldn't call off school unless we had at least a foot of snow. Play on.
For G's bday (or maybe Xmas), he got a remote control helicopter and I told him to fly it in the driveway. I didn't open it until recently because I didn't think he'd be able to operate the controls. We have a long driveway, so I figured this was better than him playing in the back yard and flying it into the water. Sure enough, he and his buddies managed to fly it onto the roof. Unfortunately, he launched it to the roof of the part of the house that's 2 stories tall.
Tacoma Narrows bridge. And then I have a vision. The type of vision you can only have if you were a Native American having smoked more peyote than you should have. The vision is of a little boy laughing and playing. The vision then cuts to that same boy laughing and saying "R's dad has a hard belly and yours is soft." And then I say, "F This!" and I get off the ladder.
