Well, in keeping with my "reorganize my time" theme, I think I'm going to start skipping posts on Sundays. Mostly it's because I need to budget my time a little better, but partly it's because I don't get as many hits on the weekend. I think people are just busy doing fun stuff. I mean shoot! Even God took Sunday off! I know I'm a heathen and all, but in case there is a God, I don't want him to think that I think I'm better than him (obviously he's a level 2 thinker).
WHAT'S FOR DINNER?
The other night, the Ants found out we were moving and wanted to take us out to dinner. Since I was on a low carb diet, they took us to BLT Steak. I had never been there before, and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the beef. Maybe it's because I talked Mrs. Fly into "sharing" the porterhouse for two (50-50... eh hem). The sides were okay, but nothing to write home about. I liked the big cheese-bread-poofy-thingy-fried in animal fat, but I could only have a few bites with my diet. The chicken pate they served as a complementary hors d'oeuvre was good too. Mrs. Fly hated the food, but I think it was because she was a little unhappy about having to leave her best friends in the neighborhood. Funny how food may not taste as good when you are not in the mindset to enjoy it.
LIFE LESSON: So if you're about to do something unpleasant over dinner, like break up with your girlfriend, or tell your Catholic boyfriend you're pregnant, etc. you might as well just go to a crappy restaurant, because they are not going to enjoy the food anyway. And if you pick enough of a shit-hole, the other patrons may not be too disturbed by the uncontrollable sobbing that ensues.
