Well, it's good to back!

So much has happened... where to begin...

I guess I have to give three cheers to Stars for buying FT and allowing us to get our money back from the DOJ (evenutually).  I think there's a better than 50-50 chance I see my FT money by the end of the year.  I don't have any insider info... just call me an optimist... or a fool.

I was surprised to find out that ipoker now has a Rush-like game called "Speed."  Too little too late with FT coming back online in 3 months?  And they decided starting September 1 to have only the big skins get access to all the ipoker tables (the little guys get shafted).  Way to dilute your already weakening player base!  Allegedly this should help the fish pool by booting off a lot of regs who were getting high rakeback deals on some skins.  We shall see.

It appears the small-mid stakes ring games on Merge are dead.  There were only a handful of NL200+ games on Merge last night.  I know it's a weekday, but that can't be good.  It seems the games died off right after I stopped playing.  Wait... does that mean I'm THE fish?!?  And the software on Revolution still sucks.  Things sure aren't looking great right now for US-facing online poker.

It's like every poker site not named Stars WANTS to fail.  So frustrating.

I still haven't recovered from travel mode... it may take another week or so.
